Career Literacy & Preparation

Early career exploration is an especially essential intervention for students who might otherwise be at risk for leaving high school. Students will explore career, build self-awareness, learning about potential careers, and developing a plan for reaching future goals in various industries. The program will also prepare students for career college, vocational training, community college, or continuing education. Participants will learn various topics related to: 

• Resume and Interview preparation 

• Advancing in the workplace

• Communication

• Time management

• Employment hot topics

• Workplace challenges and opportunities
