
The Larger Than Life Foundation's mission is to offer life skills and training to underserved and at-risk college age students and adults’ high barriers to employment through community-based culinary arts, career literacy and health.
The Larger Than Life Foundation envisions a world in which mental health is not stigmatized and those living with mental health issues have equal access to education and job opportunities.
In 2013, the Marks Family experienced the tragic loss of their son and brother, Joshua Marks, who took his life after an aggressive battle with Bipolar disorder. Joshua was an up and coming culinary star with a “Larger Than Life” personality.
The family is continuing Joshua legacy, through mental health awareness and education.
